Beta Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Beta Program Overview
RunClaw is currently in a free beta. The beta is limited to a small cohort of participants. During the beta period, there is no RunClaw platform fee. Infrastructure costs (from Hetzner, Vultr, or your own server) and AI provider costs remain your responsibility.
Beta participants may deploy one instance of each supported agent type (OpenClaw, Agent Zero, Goose) per account. The beta program is intended to gather feedback, identify issues, and refine the platform before general availability.
By creating an account and participating in the beta program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Beta Terms of Service. These terms supplement the general Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, these Beta Terms take precedence during the beta period.
2. No Uptime Guarantee
RunClaw is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis during the beta period. The platform may experience unscheduled downtime, interruptions, or degraded performance without prior notice. No service level agreement (SLA) is in effect during the beta.
Your VPS uptime depends on the infrastructure provider you chose (Hetzner, Vultr, or your own server). Provider outages, instance failures, and network disruptions are outside RunClaw's control.
3. Data Loss Disclaimer
During the beta period, VPS instances may be wiped, reset, or reprovisioned as part of platform updates, bug fixes, or infrastructure changes. Data stored on your VPS instances -- including AI agent conversations, configurations, memory, and files -- may be lost without prior notice.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of any data you wish to preserve. RunClaw is not liable for any data loss that occurs during the beta period. Backups remain your responsibility on all self-hosted paths.
4. Features May Change
All features, functionality, user interfaces, APIs, and integrations available during the beta are subject to change. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice. Pricing structures, tier definitions, and feature allocations that are discussed or previewed during the beta are not guaranteed and may differ at general availability.
5. Support
Support during the beta is best-effort. There are no guaranteed response times. For help, questions, or feedback, email hello@runclaw.run.
6. Infrastructure Responsibility
On self-hosted paths (Hetzner, Vultr, SSH), you own the provider account, the server, and the data on it. You are responsible for:
- All charges from your cloud provider (VPS costs, bandwidth, snapshots, and any other billable resources)
- The security and management of your cloud provider credentials
- Compliance with your cloud provider's terms of service
- Backups of data you wish to preserve
RunClaw operates the control-plane layer: provisioning coordination, URLs, monitoring, updates, and management workflows. RunClaw is not responsible for charges, data loss, or service disruptions on your infrastructure.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RunClaw and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your participation in the beta program. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses.
Your participation in the beta program is entirely at your own risk. You acknowledge that beta software may contain bugs, errors, and other issues that could cause system failures or data loss.
8. Termination
RunClaw may terminate or suspend the beta program, or your participation in it, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination of the beta program:
- Your access to RunClaw's platform services (dashboard, monitoring, sidecar connections) may be discontinued.
- Your self-hosted VPS instances are not affected by RunClaw beta termination. They remain under your control in your cloud provider account or on your existing server.
- RunClaw will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of beta program termination when possible.
